Finally, here are pictures from the wedding we went to a couple of weeks ago. It was the son of a family that we visit often that live on our street. They are really fun friends for us here in DD, and we were delighted to celebrate with them. It was a Christian wedding. This first picture was from their reception at their home a couple of days after the wedding. Isn't her sari beautiful???!!! The slideshow below is all from the wedding day. We left the boys to hang out with a few other friends all day.
A short video clip of confetti thrown at them as they left the church and money held over their hear for blessings and for the band. I thought it was funny how this one guy wouldn't give his money to the trumpet player. A different tradition for us to learn about.
