My last Gigi and Grandy post--my favorite.
The Random.
The Everyday.
The iPad...she brought her iPad.
Breaking it back in for me.
Our trashman was excited to see the new baby.
Christmas from Papa and Nanny. It came--probably the day after we left for the capital for Wint's birth. So, that meant we had to wait 6 weeks for it. It was still so fun to spread out the gifts...and to have a package when we got home. Our neighbor had it waiting for us.
Napping.
Grandy playing one of Sarala's math game with her.
Papa and Nanny sent Connect 4. It was one of my favorite games I had as a child at their house.
I know I asked them to play it a gazillion times. Now, it's a family favorite of ours too.
Sweet friends came by to meet Wint.
Gray took them hiking up the fun hill in our city. Wint and I enjoyed a quiet restful morning.
Making pictures to send back home.
This is a pirate for cousin Will.
Another thing on Grandy's bucket list was to ride one of the elephants that roam our city.
Grandy climbed up the wall for a ride.
All the boys spotted it while the ladies were shopping at the grocery store.
Fun for them...but bummer for mom.
But no worries....we met him again (I think it's the same one) right outside our neighborhood.
Not a convenient place for her to climb up--right on the side of the road,
but she got to meet him, and they threw the kids up there to ride.
Everybody snuggled up with the new baby!
Legos are part of so many of our days.
Our kids...slowly and casually...getting back to school.
Gigi brought a sewing book and lots of new supplies to encourage our new little seamstress.
Here they are working on a shirt--embroidery.
Sarala dress out the designs and learned some new stitches.
And, they had lots of fun doing it.
I've got a picture of the final product in another post.
Gigi always volunteers to give the babies baths!
And, she taught me some sewing too!
We took a lot of Sarala's old dresses and made them into skirts.
She also helped me with a few other of my projects and made a pillow for our new swing.
Some friends watched our kids, and we went on a double date.
You cook your kebabs on the grill in the table.
While sitting by the pool.
And, here we are...the morning we said good-bye.
We had a great time with you, and are SO glad you came!
Love, love, love you!
The took the VERY last direct flight from Delhi to Chicago back home.
After AA cancelled that flight, they had to change their tickets to take the last one.
