Special Deliveries

We've got a few fun packages last month--mostly for Gray's birthday, but when a package comes, there is usually something in it for everyone! So fun!!!

All of these were from family!!! Thanks, we love you dearly!!!

Father's Day

How sweet...Gray's Father's Day started out like this. Our little snuggle bug came to our room early and cuddled up with his daddy. He had the whole other side to the bed if he wanted it, but he chose to be touching Gray, sharing the same pillow. He used to be a mama's boy. But, no doubt, he's totally a daddy's boy now. He often refers to Gray as "my da-da."

Then they whipped out their pasta signs that said,

"#1, Dad, We love you"

and paraded into the bedroom singing,

"Happy Father's Day to you...."

Gray is an awesome Father and I love him SO much!!!!

My Hubby in the Himalyas

Last week, Gray left for the Himalayas with 3 other guys for a 4 day trek to the start of the Ganges River. Gray is much better with words than I am, so here's how he put it...

Set high up in the Himalayas at a height of 13,000 feet and only a few miles from the Tibetan-Indian border is a glacier that crumbles and drops pieces of ice the size of refrigerators into theriver below. This water will flow 1,560 miles from these mountains to the Bay of Bengal. Along the way it provides drinking water, irrigation and a lifeline to over 400 million people - more than the population of the United States of America. Not only that, but this river defines a nation and a culture as hundreds of millions seek this river as a symbol of salvation and holy devotion. This is the Ganges River and the starting point is known as Gaumukh - or the cow’s mouth.

And....he got to go there!!! Right up to it....where it starts..."the cow's mouth."
