Happy Birthday, Jackson!

Jackson turned 7 the end of August.
We had actually celebrated his birthday the first week of July just before we left the US.
He wanted to have a camping party--especially--with Grandy and his cousin Will.

I got the fun camo cake from Wal-mart!  Awesome!
Grandy cut the wood for me!

Jackson chose the toppers.
He said, "Pretend the army man is a hunter and this is the only animal I could find."

Getting it set up earlier that day.

Sarala was glad to get in on the fun too for dinner.

His party made for lots of fun memories.
It was actually one of our last nights in the US before returning to India.

Sam has special mosquito drawing powers so he has to wear pants!
Mainly because he had been biten so much and scratched, of course,
therefore, the bug spray burned badly.

Oh, beef hot dogs, how we miss you!!!
Our family loves a good hotdog!

I love this sibling picture!!!

And this....makes me have a little tear!
Sarala spent the night with Adeline.

And, Aunt Christina getting in on the lovin too!

Such a fun celebration with his buddy!

Oh, Anna, you are such a cute stinker!

Smores!

And, Gigi read to the littles!

They were all still in the tent when I woke up.

The next morning we finished off with a trip to the lake with the kayaks!

His actual birthday!
Biscuits and gravy--his favorite!

I think he hurt his finger on purpose!

We had a random, weird lunch, and watched a movie.
Tried to make it special and different.  ;)
We would've gone out, but daddy was away and had the car.

I had found this stick craft book in NY--perfect for Jackson!

Random dessert--his request were those wafer things and whole kiwis--his favorite.

After dinner we had some cupcakes

Amy having fun with an army man

These were sparkler candles, and I let them keep burning to see the sparkles.

And, the army man's face burned off!
