Happy 3rd Birthday, Parks!!!

Just last week, we had a huge birthday celebration for Parks!
He woke up to such Thomas the Tank Engine fun for a 3 year old!!!

And, he was ready for pancakes with his hat and new plate!

Parks LOVES the Happy Birthday song!

So, we sang it to him a LOT, and we videoed each time because after last year, we've discovered it's the best thing on the ipad for him!  He watches these videos over and over and over.  He's already watched these on this blogpost more than I can count!

Happy Birthday over pancackes!!!

We really built up the number 3 because he really liked being 2!
He used to tell us he didn't want to be 3!
He is such a stinker, and says the funniest things (if you can understand him)!

He also got a few new trains that morning.
One cannot have enough Thomas trains!

Aunt Bo (Parks has affectionately given our friend Beth this new name)
was there to celebrate and read him some of his new books

These were going to be just extra cupcakes for lunch and to later save for his actual birthday.
But, when Gray was picking up our lunch, he ran into some of our other friends, and invited them over.
We were really glad they came over because it actually accidentally became a party!!!  :)
Party meaning cake, friends, and they grabbed a present too!

So, we sang again, and he blew out the candles again!!!

If you only watch one video, this is the one so you can see him scream because Jackson blew out his candles.
It was a BIG deal!  And, he blew them out again....and maybe more than one time.  ;)

But, in the end, he was happy again.

His sweet friend Levi, enjoying the icing!

Sarala loving on Riley Jo, Levi's sister.

And, a fun present!  He play with this at a few friends' home in the US.
For a while, I've known this would be his gift!  :)

And, to top off the night....
we had the SummerLINKers over for more cake before they and Daddy left the next morning.

And, there were more candles and more singing!!!!

That night he got Thomas sheets from Gigi and Grandy,
and they watched him open them on skype!

He thought it was the greatest day ever!
We actually celebrated on the 3rd because Gray was leaving the next day and
it was too close to his birthday to not celebrate with Dad!

Still, on August the 6th we went to McDonald's, had left over cake, and
he got another present I had forgotten to give him before.

Happy Birthday, Parks!  We love you!!!
